Seems like Amir Khan is too high risk and low reward

After seeing that he can take more than one good shot from Maidana, I think the KO upset on Khan will be harder now. His chin was a huge weakness, among others.

Now that he rolls with shots, holds, and can take a better shot, he is more dangerous than before.

His speed, range and particular his jab was what made him difficult to get pass. I don't think many have a style to beat him other than Bradley.

Khan does need an opponent who brings it to look good though, but that's all boxers. No one looks good vs goos defensive fighters because there are less punches thrown.

Some will argue yeah but the 'sweet science' but that seems to e bias for a certain few, while offensive fighters are judged unfairly on that issue.

Anyway back on track, Khan has a title yet thwse guys want to get paid much more than ever before!

    JMM's manager Nacho said no.
Peterson wanted more, he was offered 300k which a rematch clause (normal for a champ to offer) which he only got 100k vs ortiz.
Judah understanbly wants Pac for more money, but to me how he says Amir is a kid, and a step down? Matthyse and Mabuza hardly proved much... Also they just walk to you, while Khan has some boxing IQ.

Basically, after all that crap I typed, Khan is too good for what money he brings!

He brings a lot of money to the table but only for fights in the uk. He needs guys like Marquez and Judah to build his profile in the US, but at the moment none of these guys want to potentially be that stepping stone. With Judah I dont get his logic he doesn't deserve the PAC fight anyway, every time he steps up to elite level he fails. Him and khan is a perfect crossroads fight and will show both guys capabilities at this stage of their careers. If khans ultimate goal is mayweather he would have to get through a guy like Judah, and from a promotional stand point if he can beat guys that only the best guys beat then that will help sell those huge fights in the future

Since Judah got that title, he has been back to us talking for sure. Before that, I didn't really talk much, although Matthyse was good for him. I guess titles do allow fighters to talk or at least they get more calls from radio shows etc...

He most certainly at 140 does not desrve Pac. Honestly, Judah would simply get KO'd or run trying. There were moments VS Mubaza where he was just back pedalling trying to be defensive liek Sweet Pea but not really throwing much liek Sweet does.

It wasn't good fun, but at least the crowd supported him.

He isnt low reward. Its just that Pacquiao is higher reward and given Pac is fighting the likes of Mosley, any and every fighter is now thinkin they might have a shot

I think that a fight with Khan offers good pay days, but fighters are scared to lose to him because he is good, and in the way of a step up to the top tier guys.

buddy that is not what high risk low reward means. fighting a guy like winky wright is high risk no reward because he is great fighter who doesnt bring alot of money to the table. khan brings more money than just about 2-4 other fighters in boxing period. lol

Yeah but that rematch clause said that Peterson would make the exact same purse he would of made as the challenger. Does that seem right? Peterson made over 300k to fight Bradley. So why would he take less than that to fight Khan? Here is the article.

Junior welterweight titlist Timothy Bradley Jr. and interim titleholder Lamont Peterson will meet Dec. 5 in mandatory fight, promoter Gary Shaw told ESPN.com on Wednesday after winning a purse bid to gain promotional rights to the match.
