Yeah but that rematch clause said that Peterson would make the exact same purse he would of made as the challenger. Does that seem right? Peterson made over 300k to fight Bradley. So why would he take less than that to fight Khan? Here is the article.

i think bradley shoud take the fight. A true champion fights the best opposition and the junior welterweight division is crying out for this fight. Just because bradley can get a similar payday against weaker opposition is not an excuse imo. If he beats khan the big paydays will come. So stop fcuking about!!!!

I see where you're coming from. The only thing I thought was bull was the 300K for the rematch. Now be honest, if you just beat a guy for the title and he got a rematch with you are you really going to take short money even though you're the champ? Just doesn't seem right to me. Peterson should of tried to negotiate the rematch money and just took the title shot, but i'm sure he probably did and got nowhere.
