Yup. I stay up alone until 5am for stuff like Pac-Mosley and Ward-AA, it's nice to be able to have a drink and chill with friends and see a world championship fight at 9pm for once.

Personally, I'd prefer for Haye to win because I think it makes things interesting. I get why people like Wlad and appreciate his skills, but one guy and his brother being head and shoulders above the rest isn't a great situation to me and it'd be nice to have someone else be on their level.

I don't really like or dislike Haye, I'm pleased he's finally facing Wlad but then again he is a bit of a prat, promising a great fight and big KO and running from Valuev was sad to see, then fighting Audley. Ruiz I didn't mind so much, decent opponent and decent fight. Haye to me is more bark than bite, but at least he's chinny enough that he'll provide a highlight reel KO if he does lose.

It's a bit like watching England in the World Cup, even though most of them are complete wankers it can be fun to get in the spirit of things and cheer them on.

Yeah. We use 'pissed off' the same way you guys do, but otherwise it's usually synonymous for drunk.

          Thanks for all that.

It may be hard not to get into some patriotic thing if most around you are rooting for the home guy.

I think, as noted above, that some of Haye's public antics are to get publicity,
but something rotten happened with the Audley fight. And I give Haye credit for going to their backyard and acceding to all their demands. Only wish he had a better chin himself. And above I wrote that there are some bad things hidden beneath the surface re the K bros and treatment of opponents.

I see that Wlad is 35, Vitali is soon to be 40. And Haye is 30. Neither
K bro has been tested lately.

Gotta think on fight night heavy odds on Wlad, but probably not as heavy as Clay v Liston or Douglas v Tyson. And we know how those turned out.

One of them will likely get KOed. Unless we get a dancing, snoozefest. Both of them I think would be happy to eke out a win any which way and don't care to please the fans.

Sometimes though I wonder if there is more of an anti-home guy feeling, for some sports.

I also like tennis. And it seems the British fans are the toughest on Andy Murray. Of course, maybe there is some justification there, as he does seem to fold in the biggest moments.

So I could also see some Brits thinking Haye gives the country a bad name--especially after the Audley thing.

Bottom line, everyone loves a winner.

Brits are the only people who want Haye to win, and also the only people who actually think he can or will win

I think that a lot of American boxing fans liked Haye when he first moved up and called out Wlad, but then seemed to go off him as time went on and the fight didn't happen.

Well I have said I wouldkd prefer Haye to win, and I think there are many who also do for various reasons, who are not Brits.

But I don't think he will. I don't think the odds will be as bad as the 2 examples I gave.

But my British friends, is the following true (from another thread):

"Chris Eubank v Nigel Benn II

Don King had in the contract that both the winner and loser would have to do their next for 4 or 5 fights with him. The fight was a draw and both fighters got out of the deal and signed with other promoters."

                    That is great if true!

physiker, are you autistic or have you just seen your first boxing match? And to Vitali having no sportsmanship? The brothers have more sportsmanship in their pinkys than anyone else in the HW division. They are pure class acts. They are friendly, well spoken, educated, treat people with respect.

Then you have a clown like David Haye who has been spreading lies for 2 years crying and spouting rumours to the point where his own countrymen have started to bash him.

                      And to your "Contract Issues"

Look at Wlads resume at HW and look at David Hayes resume, hes already getting 50:50 and thats only because of his mouth, not talent. In reality the champ should get atleast 60%. Even at 40% it will be the best purse he has ever received, any boxer who fights the brothers make the real money. David is just someone who talks alot of **** either because he has emotional issues or he needs to prove how tough he is to people. Except people can see right thru him and when push comes to shove everyone knows who the REAL MAN is.

Imagine if Haye was the true HW champ for years and some little kid from Germany started spouting rumours and demanding 50:50 while having 1/10th of the resume of him? How would the UK fans feel?

Look at the accomplishments then you tell me that David Haye deserves equal, hes not the champ.

I hope Wlad knocks him unconcious and Haye goes back doing what he does best, frontin like hes tough.
