Do Most Brits Want Haye To Win?

Do Most Brits Want Haye To Win?

Of course, there are 2 goups.

Steady boxing fans. ANd those who only follow a fight if it makes the regular news, as I would imagine this one does.

What do you think, Brits? Do you want him to win? Do most of your fellow Brits want him to win?

ive been amassive haye fan and i want him to win the fight against wlad but he did seem a bit nervous twitchy at the press conference in hamburg and i think its duaning on him the reality of what hes up against in wlad....he has taken some of the comments ect too far and its a shame as i really feel hes slowly losing the support of the british public...i was hoping wladimir would get riled up by hayes comments but hes trying to be funny and charming and does seem a nice bloke tbf.....i think it will be a cat and mouse fight neither fighter committing to big punches abit like the harrison fight and i think its whoever makes the big mistake first gunna be getting knocked out
haye inside 4 rounds or if goes longer then wladimir by late stoppage

      Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with the first thing I highlighted and disagree with the 2nd,

I have said, despite the public bravado, Haye will not come out smoking, but will try to dance around him, hoping to tire him out. Which brings us to the 2nd thing. If Haye can tire him out and in the later rounds put some pressure on him, Wlad may tire out first. Also depends on whether he is allowed to lean over on top of Haye as he gets away with in Deutschland

So you think it will be a stinker? How do you think it is likely to go?

The casual fans will cheer on Haye. But I think the more interested boxing fan will want wlad. Haye has talked and talked and his run at HW has become some what of a farce. In all the recent TV performances and conferences Haye has come across as kind of silly with his childish talk and petty antics. Wlad has been very relaxed and I think all the presenters have taken a real liking to him. I personally will be cheering on Wlad come fight night. I used to be a Haye fan and went to him vs Barrett but after all these years of poor fights and cheap talk I really dont like him any more. I feel ig haye cant land or hurt Wlad early then wlad will take over the fight and beat the hell outta Haye, ko'ing him inside 7 rounds.

I'm Scottish and I'm supporting Haye. I like the Klitschko Bros. aswell but I've watched Haye's rise through Cruiserweight and through Heavyweight and would love to see him beat the Klitschkos. I just hope the fight will live up to the massive build and expectation.

I'm not sure about the general population in UK but a few of my friends want Haye to lose because they say he's too arrogant and ****y.

i just think haye will be like he was in the valuev fight, rather than how he was in the macaraneli fight. he isnt going to go toe to toe and neither will wlad. they both need to go toe to toe and then it will be a good fight. wlad will probably be his usual self, jab jab grab, bollocking of steward at the end of the rounds for not going for the kill.

To be honest, I do want Haye to win, and a lot of that is due to him being British. I'm not his biggest fan but he represents our country well and is a proud Brit. He deserves the support of his countrymen.

However, more than anything, I just want to see a great fight. I'm rooting for a Haye victory, but Klitschko is great champion, and if he victors I will give him his due credit.

                    Thanks for that.

RE arrogance: I see things more deeply, and beyond the superficial.
THe real arrogance occurs behind the scenes. The K Bros insist on horrible terms for the opponent. They've made Haye fight on their turf with all their rules etc.

I recall one boxer, maybe Byrd, said they did all kinds of things to him, but just before the fight, handed him a legal injunction preventing him from stating on TV what they had done! So he said he'd like to tell the world, but couldn't!

So they do all kinds of things that sicken me. Haye's stuff is just blather, and hype to promo the fight. I think the K Bros are the real arrogant ones, and just like politiicans fool people that they are "good."
