Booo... 1.2 isn't enough. I wanted it to do at least 1.41 to toss some sand into the Floydie fans vagina's. Anything less than 1.41 and you'll get a handful of those streamers running around saying the fight was a complete utter failure.

      Will never buy again? Sure!

Cotto,Clottey and Margarito were all underdogs. On top of that, all Top Rank boxers. People still bought PAC/SHANE PPV. You know why? because it doesn't ****ing matter, people just wasnt a good time once in awhile!to make it simple, add those two guys KO wins and ask anybody if that fight would stir excitement .

Arum would not be surprised if the number exceeds into the realm of 1.4 or 1.5 million. The exact buyrate figure should be received by the end of the week, Arum told the paper. Pacquiao won a twelve round decision over Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Newsflash for all the idiots on this site who believe this information! BOB ARUM IS LYING!!!!! He always lies about the numbers for Pacquaio. He claimed that Pac/Margarito did 1.5 million buys. It actually did 1.1 million. He claimed that Pac/Cotto did 1.6 million. It did 1.2 million. Arum has never told the truth about the "early projections" from a Pacquaio PPV and he is lying now!

Manny never pressed the issue.. HAHA shoot yourself for that idiotic statement.. Your an idiot.. Every who saw that fight Said Shane never fought.. Damn idiots are appearing more and more these days on these boards..

Ask yourself who came forward the whole time, who pressed the attack, and who back peddled and found ways of slowing the fight down by head butting and give high fives...

I am not pretending it is good, I am telling you it;s good!

....boxing wouldn't be that exciting if not for the PPV. Some boxers compete at the highest level just to make it to the mainstream. Don't worry, amateur boxing will always be there.

Agree. If only the Super Bowl went to PPV instead of FOX or CBS it would be even bigger...

These are good numbers; too bad it had to be this kind of fight, though. Manny did his job and it is admirable how he says that he doesn't mind getting hit to make it a good fight for the fans. Mosley on the other hand did not show up to fight. It sucks that when people actually tune in to watch boxing they have to watch this kind of fight. I wish they could be exposed to some fight of the year caliber fights to rejuvenate interest in the sport.
