    Manny Pacquiao's last 7 opponents.....

Lately, a number of observers have commented that all of Manny Pacquiao's recent opponents have either been old, faded, or inept. Let's take a closer look at 27%'s recent fights, and see if there is any truth to that allegation.....

    Accusations leveled at Pacquiao include.....

    * Manny will not fight a skilled boxer
    * Manny will not fight a skilled counter-puncher
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Let's apply that criteria to 27%'s last 7 opponents, and see how they stack up.

    ====================================

David Diaz - Not a top fighter, faded, disadvantaged.....
    * Manny will not fight a skilled boxer
    * Manny will not fight a skilled counter-puncher
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Oscar De La Hoya - Shot, drained, and shrink-wrapped.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Ricky Hatton - Not a top fighter, faded, and disadvantaged.....

Miguel Angel Cotto - Badly faded / shopworn, and disadvantaged.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Joshua Clottey - Not a top fighter, and strangely innocuous.....
    * Manny will not fight a skilled boxer
    * Manny will not fight a skilled counter-puncher
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Antonio Margarito - Not a top fighter, faded, disadvantaged.....

Shane Mosley - Faded, shopworn, and disadvantaged.....
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
    * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
    * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

    ====================================

All-in-all, that is a damn shabby line-up for a supposed P4P fighter, especially when you consider all of the advantages afforded to 27% during those fights..... e.g. fighting for a vacant JMW title, at catch-weight, against a BUM, and using 8oz gloves

Now, I can understand a top fighter taking the odd bout against a lesser opponent.....
but EVERY opponent in your last 7 fights?

How fkn lame is that ?

The last time 27% fought a live dog was Marquez II, and according to a significant number of trainers/fighters/journalists/analysts..... HE LOST!!

SUMMARY: There is no question that 27% is a manufactured fighter, with a padded resume'..... quite simply, just more Top Rank smoke and mirrors.
You forgot to mention that those guys who comment that way about Pac is either Mexicans, Floyd fans, or just pure jealous haters.

You should also comment how boxing commentators, Boxing experts (almost all), and athletes like the Rock, Tyson, Roy Jones Jr, Sugar Ray Leonard, Artest, Celtics team, and a bunch of others, and a bunch of fans not named chavez, pedro, or whateva other Mexican names, hell let's throw in Paris Hilton in there. They all agree Pac is the best.

It's funny how you put up all these statistics. You should start with Ledwaba, Pac's first U.S opponent and the one that made him known. And don't forget that PacYOU went up into a division he wasn't supposed to be in. And 1 --> while you're at it, put up your favorite guy's stats - compare that to Pac - and eat your heart out boooOy.. I bet you'll get a heart-attack.

Marquez had tough opponents too after he fought Pac. And that's why I respect him for it. But I don't see how Pac could not beat those guys like Juan Diaz, Campbell, & Katsidis as well. But then if you say, "then Pac should've fought them!" Well I say, "**** that! I aint going to skip fighting Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, & etc... + fame & fortune ya know what I mean., for the average Joe?! you kiddin' me? ? And believe me, if JMM had that option, he would've gone that same path as Pac, "IF" only he had that option.

"canelo can't make 144, but he can make 147"... but canelo can't even make 150... this is what you get when you put a banker and a pair of golden stockings in a microwave... better result compared with the Large Hadron Collider...

Fraud Jr. would not fight Cotto or Margarito, instead he made the smaller guys come up to fight him like Hatton and Juan.

And in Juan's case, he even weighed in 6 pounds heavier, juan weighed in at 142 and Fraud at 146, two pounds over the contracted weight of 144. Then Fraud refused to be weighed at fight night against Juan. From what I saw, Fraud looks like he was about 15 pounds bigger than Juan..

Fraud couldn't even knockdown a Mosley who was standing in front of him. If Mosley wasn't so afraid to exchange with Pacquiao, he would have been put to sleep before the 5th round.

Once again, Pacquiao bested Fraud jr. Pacquiao is the only man to sell over 1 million in PPV 4 straight years in a row. Another milestone that Fraud Jr. can't even get a sniff at. I'm sure when that news hit Fraud jr. he'll have another incident that inches him closer to the abyss.

KARMA IS REAL! FRAUD JR. IS JUST GETTING HIS JUST REWARD FOR DEFAMING PACQUIAO.

Next stop for Fraud jr. is the pokey, or Pacquiao. Fraud would prefer the pokey than get pummeled by Pacquiao.

WHAT BOB ARUM WANTS, ARUM GETS!

Fraud Jr. will eventually have to fight Pacquiao, Bob Arum always win in the end. Come on, Fraud is going against a Harvard trained lawyer. A dumb**** like Fraud Jr. going up against a Harvard trained lawyer, that's an easy one to pick the winner. THE BOBFATHER!

Canelo or Jmm vs ANYONE is 10 times a better fight than all of the GARBAGE pac puts on !in terms of entertainment excitment and DELIVERY! AND THATS A FACT! pac needs to fight mayweather, martinez, angulos,or canelo, or ortiz, anyone other than those guys=GARBAGE like last sat, beating up old shot bums , in case you havent noticed isnt getting much praise by anyone these days except for philipinos of course!
Yes - sillier even. Come on - at least Pacquiao's fighters were still in the mix and were actually rated. Hatton wasn't rated at all. At the end of the day entertainment is made by putting fighters who can actually **** with each other - Hatton had 0% chance against Canelo and that was widely the opinion - the actual fight proved it. It had 0 entertainment because the matching was way off.

You say Pacquiao needs to fight Mayweather - < he's been gunning for that fight for some time now and it's not going to happen. There's no use stating what's never going to happen and he's already made it known that he wants that fight but Maynever isn't coming back anytime sooner. Don't get me wrong - Maynever, despite being chicken as he is schools Manny for 12 rounds making him miss but he's a coward for running.

Martinez is too big for Manny - sorry, but boxing fans can't be too unfair - there's obviously such thing as too big.

Personally, I'd really like to see Pacquiao dethrone the other Welterweight holders. Everyone seems to criticize all of Pacquiao's fights - why not go for the other Champions in the division?
