There's a limit to that, right? I thought Manny initially signed a 7 fight deal with them. Manny's original contract with Top Rank was supposed to expire last November as well. Don't know what happened to those deals.

...Arum's offer is pretty difficult to match since there a very few PPV material boxers out there that can generate box office hit revenues fighting around 144.
Amir or Tim probably would be the best dancing partner but Oscar would have to sell at least 550k PPV's to break even. 700k would be a good number, taking a risk just to keep JMM is not really a good investment since all JMM need is one loss and he is pretty much done on the PPV attraction list.

GBP is so bad at what they do its embarrasing. They actually entertained the thought of Marquez - Alvarez at 147 when Alvarez can't even make 150? They must think all their boxing fans are ******ed. And that fight won't even come anywhere close to making over 5 million. Same with Ortiz.

GBP wont be able to pay anybody a guarantee 5 million this year when there highest selling PPV of the year so far did less than 50k.
