My question is does Goldenboy have to match the 10 million rematch clause?

I don't know if it's possible, just sayin. They could in theory also come out of pocket and say, pay a difference of $1-$2 million out of their own funds.
You put Canelo on the undercard, that's just more mouths to feed for GBP on top of the $5 mil they're giving to JMM alone. The last time Canelo was on a PPV undercard, it did 100K buys. JMM's most buys on his own is maybe 200K... not happening.

Just Schaefer being a sore loser. If he'd just apologize he wouldn't have to go around making a fool of himself doing stuff like this. Just comes off as undignified that he's basically begging JMM to stay with some bull****. Just let the man go and focus on building up your young talented fighters into bankable stars. This is just getting pathetic, I'm sure Arum is already planning the media tour and promotions for the trilogy.

        x percntage of what?

for a pac fight its x percent of a guaranteed 1 million ppv's.
for a ortiz fight its x percent of what? a guaranteed 100k? lol

        ppv revenue matters FFS!

They have to match all terms of the contract- the guarantees (including the possible rematch), the PPV percentages, the weight. EVERYTHING.

if i understand it correctly, the rematch clause of $10M only gets exercised if JMM beats Pac, right?

if Pac beats JMM, there is no rematch.

            am I reading this properly?

Just keep building your legacy in real fights the old fashioned way. But, noooooo... These fighters look to take the easy route while simultaneously robbing their fans. Now he gets to get pummeled by a hungry up and comer with nothing to lose.

He better double up on that piss for this one.
^this right here!!! all these ***** made fools willing to do anything for a dollar and being disloyal to the company that put money in their pockets... *** it marquez wants fight at 144lbs???.. feed him to ortiz!

This is just Schaefer being a spoiled baby and not taking his second straight L like a man. Have some dignity damnit, you're looking really desperate out there.
how ironic? lol, you work for top rank??... how desperate is bob looking right now trying to make up for the failure of a fight this past saturday!!... bobs just trying to cash in on mexican people spending on ppvs for this next fight, instead he'll be left trying to sell a fight with an unkown bradley who's last fight bombed on hbo..

i hope golden boy pulls off this move..

There is no way they can match that.

Does Alvarez or Khan bring 10million to Marquez in a future bout?
                  I would think not.
