I think the stoppage was conservative but it was his own corner. I think Arce was about to tie up and rest for a second and then would have ko'd WV2, so it was a matter of time, plenty of time left in the round to put him on the deck and the ref would have stopped it anyway. I hope they do fight again, it was a great fight!

I watched the fight with a bunch of Ricans. They don't take this boxing thing too seriously. Every other punch that landed they'd jump up and say "conio!", whether it was Arce or WV2 landing the punch. One Rican wanted to bet me against his Rican brother WV2. I learned long ago to not bet in boxing. As for the "small edge", it is misleading due to manipulation but it is what it is either way. Lastly, the Rican food I ate was excellent as usual. I must've ate about 6 plates of a white rice with black lentils topped with some very tender pork that was superbly ****ed. Gotta love the Ricans and their culture! I recommend to all my Mexican brothers that they get to know the Ricans among them. They'd be very lucky to count a Rican as their friend.

I'm guessing this is the last of P.R.'s glory days. The Mexican population is exploding(more importantly in the U.S.A. where we don't have to worry about food like in Mexico) and boxing is gaining in popularity. On the other hand, the population in Puerto Rico is declining and the Ricans are getting absorbed by those whom they live among in the U.S.A. Lastly, the # of boxers in P.R. is at it's peak because of Trinidad's exploits not too long ago. There is no Tito today and the # of boxers in P.R. will also decline for that reason along with the others.

Sounds more like your hping this is the last of P.R. glory days. .. PR had great boxers wayyyy before Trinidad and we will continue to have great champs in the future boxing is part of our culture much like it is for Mexicans.
