the great jorge arce pulled it off! he won the psycological war early on who's the man.
he had vazquez cowarding at times. amazing! able to absorb some punishing blows and still chase down vazquez. whoa!

i hope these career merits of Arce gets him in the hall of fame.

but dang... after 11 I had vazquez ahead.
and if it went 12 and i made 12th arce 10-8.
I would of had it a draw.

the full fight vid is out there. watching it streaming left alot to be desired. and corner stoppage looked less questionable streaming.

but on second look take note that after fight was stopped vazquez jr. does not look wiped out. and he was throwing back. and arce had little power on those punches.
vazquez was ahead on the cards. he just had to make it thru less then a minute.

      Bad idea.

      WV2 was not ready.

He's got the tools, but lacks the experience.

Fight a couple lower levels guys and work on boxing a little more and slugging a little less.

Man, don't start with that ****. You lost a good fight, take it like a man, and if the gel issue was real, then keep it to yourself and show him what you've really got in the rematch.

              interesting about the gel.
i grease my hair strait back with gel. and when i'm washing it out in the shower if it gets in my eyes it burns.

It is very probable that he did injure his eye, however, that is not the reason that he lost the fight. Had it been a serious affliction he would not have been able to keep that eye open. ive read that it was the ****ed hair that poked the eye and damaged the cornia, and now its the gel that was the problem, IDK. Anyone who has ever had their eye poked seriously, knows what Im talking about.

He got taken deep and he drowned its that simple. I saw the look on his face when he looked over at his corner and he looked scared. IDK if it was shock from seeing his corner's reaction or if it was genuine fear in his heart.

I hope they do the rematch right away and in Mejico so that he can test himself. He can win if he boxes. He can also win a brawl but he will have to work on his defense and stamina. He already showed us that he can drop Arce.

If no immediate rematch with VW2, who should Arce fight?

That's the funniest excuse of the year so far.

Well, I guess most fighters just don't want to admit they lost.
