It's the exact same group. One day mannys on roids fighting monsters and knocking out giants, the next day he's a media hyped bum only fighting at catch weights. One day he's supposed to fight the middle weight champion of the word, the next day he's supposed to drop to 135 and beat up on jmm again. It's really amazing, dude can't win.

Oh and lets not forget he's also supposed to jedi mind trick floyd into a fight as well, and if floyd never finds his urge that is also mannys fault.

You don't get it. That's how I always talk to you - like you're a ho. Cuz that's what you are, Top Rank. When's Manny's next fight? No doubt you'll be back on your knees in no time.

Don't come around here with those annoying "facts". It's well known all these boards that manny pacquiao is in fact the "catch weight king" and has never fought in a fight that's not a catch weight. Leave us to our fantasys

Marquez said on republica deportiva that it was most likely gonna be a catchweight.

JMM came into his fight with Katsidis weighing 148. What does it matter whether its 140, 147, or a catchweight of 144-145 when in reality, both fighters come into the ring weighing practically the same thing? How does Pac have a size or weight advantage if when the bell rings, they both weigh the same???

Now if Pac was like the typical WW who makes 147 yet comes in the ring weighing 156, then I would have a problem with it.

              He's either a Pac-hater or a Floydie fan or both, w/c is w/c.

The problem, however, is that people just wont shut up about Marquez beating Manny. There is a large group of individuals who claim Manny hasn't improved, has fought tailor made opponents, and avoids fighters like him.

Manny is in a lose-lose situation because if he turns the fight down then he is ducking Marquez and feeding into the b.s., but if he takes the fight then he is cherry picking an old LW.

My current choice is Bradley, but if Manny takes that, we will never hear the end of the Manny ducked Marquez talk.
You are totally correct, problem is Manny cannot please everybody. Whether he fights JMM or not these people will still complain and question him.

The fight should be at whatever weight Pacquiao demands.

If Marquez wants the fight that badly he will have to move up for it, just as Pacquaio moved up to fight De La Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto.

I don't think Pacquaio is desperate to beat Marquez again and is under no obligation to take the fight when there are other challenges out there for him.

                    Let's clear some things:
                    1) Pacquiao relinquished the 140lb Ring title on July 2010. The only title he holds now is the WBO welterweight one, which is what Marquez needs to to claim his fourth division belt. There is no other reason why he'd agree to fight above 140.

                    2) The catchweight at 144-145 wouldn't make any difference for Pacquiao. Neither would 141-143, but he'd eat 5 less plates of rice during fight week.

I know this trilogy is long overdue (almost 4 years, yet again), so people would definitely hold Marquez's age into account. I would have liked it at 135 just so Manny can get that fifth lineal title and then work for his sixth lineal at 147, but I don't see him risking going back down in weight.

This fight should be better than most expect because I'm sure Marquez WILL fight back, and he's pretty confident, knowing how his style always causes Manny problems.

If he wants to make the fight, it should be below 140. but it won't be. And when it happens, you'll be on here saying, "yeah, it sucks but don't worry he's fighting Martinez next!" Y'all kill me.
When JMM calls out Floyd, he agreed to a catchweight of 144 even though Floyd didn't abide to it, came in at 146.

Now JMM is still calling & trying to land a fight with Pac and you are complaining that JMM is moving up in weight again w/c is a disadvantage for him.

Question is, did you complain when JMM calls out Floyd and moved up in weight?
