He did put Cintron away, it's not his fault the ref back tracks on a 10 count and he was robbed of a knock out, this point is not even worth arguing, 10 came out the refs mouth, yet the ref changed his mind because he thought the punch was a headbutt.

Should be noted that there was a 3 minute break after the knockdown which would essentially halt his flow.

I think Cintron got up right before he said 10 but he is kind of lucky because usually a ref doesn't even count to 10 especially if a guy is not standing up by 8.

I remember arguing about it at the time, I certainly wouldn't have argued had the ref stopped it as that would have been the norm in that situation but I don't feel he ever waved off the fight. So I had no issue with the fight going on.


It was pretty bad that Martinez didn't get the decision though but he did fall off after that knockdown.

Dude come on. It's because of what he did against Paul Williams. Who many pegged as the next heir apparent (great african american) to follow after PBF. His victory over Kelly Pavlik may have been more impressive, but the way he dispatched Paul was what opened everyone's eyes. Sergio is legit. As of right now I think he's the 2nd best fighter in the world behind Manny. I don't think there's anything he can do to over take Manny until Manny losses though.
