Can Someone Explain To me How is Martinez close to Pac on a P4P basis???

I mean what the **** with this nonsense?? I mean Martinez has not come close to what Pac has donde, Pacs resume pisses, vomits and defecates on Martinez and have won more decisevly in his biggest matches.

This is just pure nonsense, Martinez beats to guys and all of the sudden he is on top or near Manny?? Hell naw son.

Just to add, Manny didnt look goo last night because Mosley ran like a b&tch and Pac was stiff legged in there.

Another clarification I think floyd beats Manny!!!!

he doesn't. When you only have 3 wins in your last 5 fights, I really don't see how that merit's p4p #1 status.

Yes he has a nice 3 fight win streak, but that's not enough to propel him to the top, especially when he will be fighting Peter Manfredo or Chavez Jr. next.

If you are talking long term then yea you are right, but if you are really putting heavy weight on recent events you could argue for Martinez.

I have personally thought Martinez needed to do a bit more to really get that consideration because he doesn't have that longevity, but with P4P there is no set standard so different strokes for different folks.

When people do rankings they consider the nature of the win/loss. You're not looking at his last 5 fights with unbias eyes.

He was robbed of a KO victory against Cintron because the guy started to cry. His fight against Paul Williams was close, and he dominated him in the rematch.

Thats what im saying, for me you have to have a long reign and a good streak of wins(not just 3).

Martinez is good dont get me wrong, but this he is close to Pacquiao as the #1 P4P fighter is a joke!!

He is fighting to be no2 fighter in the world. He isnt no1, not even close.
He had a good year and won FOTY and we now know him. But dont go boasting just cos we know the name SERGIO now.

Other boxers also had a good run of 2 wins, but they aint p4p no1 as well. You need to do it year after year. When Pac was beating the barreras and Morales of this world, they still had Pac behind FLoyd. When those Barrera and Morales was better than anyone Floyd had ever faced.

Pac probably deserved to be no1 but he wasnt officicially put there.
