I know David Diaz isn't a great or even good match up, but Marquez clearly stated this is nothing more than a tune up fight before he fights Pac again.
For a tune up, Diaz is perfect. He has a lot of heart, decent chin, but doesn't have much power or technical ability to potentially ruin a Pac fight in November.
The fight should be made at 140. Wouldn't make sense for Marquez to fight Diaz at 135 if he's fighting Pac at WW.
