You mean the boxing lesson Morales put on him or the two boxing lessons Marquez put on him. Or are you talking about the second and third fights he won against a weight drained Morales?
hardly do i see a ******* put up a sound argument. they almost always turn a blind eye or in most cases genuinely don't know the goings on in the sport and it's rich history. they just blindly parade pacquiao as this unstoppable juggernaut avatar of god that can't be beat because this guy and that guy said so and use corny current pop-culture events (lady gaga) to hurl insults as their argument. they lack the proper tools to form an opinion of their own. comes with the territory when you've only been following one guy, i guess.
Your obviously in denial about what just happen Shane just said he never felt power like Pacquiao before now let me ask you something do you think Floyd chin is better than Mosley chin?
I don't get it... you just stated that Pacquiao made Mosley quit, yet Mosley is pleading for a rematch.
No. I don't believe his chin is better than Mosley's, but I know that he can take a shot because we've seen him take heavy shots before, well, not all of us.
Oh, so Mosley was still throwing at will and dropping bombs against Mayweather after the second? If you watched the Forrest fights, you'd have seen Mosley throwing his hands out of fear, looking to survive and not actually beat his adversary. And if you watched the Wright fights you'd have seen the flustered look on his face in the first fight as he was stumped on what to do. Even his father was lost on what to tell his son during the Forrest fights.
You're completely missing the point (how ironic). Shane was discouraged in the latter half against Floydie (as well as Vernon and Winky) but he never mailed it in. He was still trying, as feeble as it may have been. He didn't mail it in, put his track shoes on, and just flat out try to avoid contact.
Sucks to be someone who idolizes a person who beats on women and has a habit of breaking laws. But I guess for you people that "thug life" **** is something to be proud of. Meh, to each his own I guess.
and just because you want a rematch doesn't mean you deserve one. He was outclassed in all of those losses. Guy, he said he wanted a rematch with Pacquiao. You just said that Pacquiao made him quit.... what gives for Pac riders????
Link? I don't recall hearing Shane say this, although I may have just missed it. I did recall him say that his next plan was vacation and relaxation in the post fight conference.
Can't blame Manny for being cautious. Shane even at this age is the biggest puncher he's ever faced. Not even Margarito or Cotto has Shane's one shot power. He has plenty to loose, notably an astronomical potential payday vs Mayweather.
When Pac did decide to press, he landed at will, even with Shane's lateral movement.
Yea, Pacquiao actually exposed himself. Floyd would PICK him apart.
If Floyd boxes, and moves around the ring it would be like Duran vs Leonard 2.
Floyd is faster than Mosley, better fighter than Mosley, quicker than Mosley, more accurate puncher.
You can argue that Shane didn't come to fight, but, face it; this fight deserved to stink from an entertainment perspective because the matchup was a farce. Had the fight been entertaining, it would've covered over the fact that this was a poopy main event, unworthy of anyone's $55, and only given a veneer of false validation for crap like this.
Those who paid for the card should stop crying and just be glad that Jorge Arce and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. were there to redeem it.
Please. Nobody said that. But a 39 year old Shane Mosley was able to make your idol look pretty bad with exactly those two things. It's a good base for any gameplan against Pacquiao. Get him off balance, and throw counters. JMM designed the blueprint on how to beat Manny Pacquiao.
He looked off balance a TON tonight. If you honestly think someone like Floyd Mayweather wouldn't exploit that, you've got another thing coming.
Well then it should be a no contest for Floyd..Let's fight..end of story.
Of course you could care less about his integrity. Wait...didn't you bring that up quite a few times to defend Mayweather's claim, that he's trying to clean up the sport? So it matters or it doesn't? I'm confused. Then you keep asking the same question over and over regarding whether or not Mayweather ever came in above the contracted weight. The answer is YES (Marquez), hence the weight penalty. Has Manny ever....ever.....again ever tested positive for drugs? NO. Has Mayweather's life spiraled out of control, so much so that a reasonable person could question his credibility....HELL YES.
No. As I stated before, I couldn't care less about whom Mayweather is outside of the ring, antics and all, there's a difference.
What fight at 147 lbs. did Mayweather fail to make weight?
