The rican boxers iv seen lately, like Lopez and this guy... I just don't know.. It's like they just don't got it... They just take to much punishment... Vasquez showed heart... but more than hurt, he was gassed. His corner in trying to make sure he comes back another day, did what they felt they had to do. Clearly Vasquez was not pleased with their decision but life goes on.

And it's not just that the man never fails to deliver an exciting fight. It's also that he's legitimately in the fights he isn't supposed to win; he doesn't just go down with valor in a blaze of fireworks.


I was rooting for him tonight and I felt it was his after the first few rounds, even with that heavy knockdown against him.


I was always a little sore that he beat my man Hussy by outweighing him by so much, but I've never been able to help admiring Jorge.

Thats 100% false. My wife is dominican. I go to D.R. a few times a year and get treated great. Puerto ricans actually have a great relationship with dominicans. We can ferry our cars there and legally drive in D.R. so a lot of ricans go there and theres no beef. Cotto was there this week with his company. Now if you say you know some dominican haters than sure haters come in all races but your clearly speaking on something you know nothing about.
