Another performance like that and Pavlik will have earned a shot at Bute.

Kelly looked slow and he looked like he didnt have much power at SMW either. Again, I dont get the move up to 170, to me, if he could make 160 while being a drunk, then he should be able to make 160 easily while not being a drunk. I see no positive in his move up in weight. On one hand he looks slower...but on the other, he looks less powerful...

suspect scoring by a well respected veteran judge adaile byrd - I don't see how Lopez won more than 3 rounds - Pavlik consistently landed harder shots with more effect. Lopez had some nice little flurries, but it was like when hatton would hit canelo - it had no effect.

arce you're my new hero. vazquez is now a favorite of mine as well - props to both guys. made up for the main event. man these guys don't wanna engage Pac. Mosley only threw 260 punches over 12 rounds. im also a little disappointed with pac, his punch output was about HALF - I think pacquiao should have tried harder to get shane outta there.

If you can't see after this that Pavlik's days in boxing are going to be short I have nothing to discuss with you.

Look at that. The black biitch who scored it 114-113 for Hopkins over Calzaghe scored this fight a draw. Gee, could she be biased against white fighters?

Lopez got away with excessive clinching, I was disgusted man, Pavlik didn't even push Lopez off him. I saw lack of determination from Pavlik, not only ring rust but lack of determination as well. Pavlik is much better than Lopez, he should have gotten Lopez out of there in impressive fashion, it shouldn't have been competitive.

I remember once upon a time when Pavlik actually had some power behind his punches...
