Honestly I was hoping to see some serious training in these fight documentaries. Like someone else said, they show Manny and Floyd putting serious work in, but they only show Shane f****** around with those foam sticks and jogging slowly. I also don't like when he's shoving uppercuts into that round bag. How often do you see Shane throw upper cuts these days?? I just hope his sparring is good.

When I made this thread it was cause any training footage with Shane and Naazim looked crappy. Now that the fight is over, Shane really was not trained well or prepared to do anything. Naazim for all his TV wisdom is a liar when it comes to Shanes condition and abilities. Just like Mosley he is in it to collect a check.

On these docs, Pac's training looks intense, Floyd's training looks intense, Shane and Naz always look like they sitting around at the dinner table listening to Naz and his Yoda speak. Did Naz ever box, seriously what does he know about being a fighter?

Maybe Shane should train with his father at least u knew his pops was putting in work.
I think he is. He's done great work with Steve Cunningham. I understand when people are saying B-Hop and SSM could train themselves or match ups playing a significant roll, but I think we have to evaluate from his prospects and established talent, not guys who have full legacies in tact.

Also... he did predict Mayweather would get hit and come back possessed as well as found the blocks in Margs wraps, so that counts too.

Mayweather made a comment to Richardson in the locker room before his fight with Mosley and he said that "I respect you but you can't fight for him tonight." He may know something.

****m gave him a "no-hurt strategy". He knew going toe to toe would be a bad idea and ****m is correct in his assessment.

Well if U can get a shot 40 year old to survive 12 rounds with 1 of boxing's best, that's pretty impressive.

Being a great trainer depends on who walked through the door and people being such followers by nature that the first champ that walked in always attracts the next one your way , then that bring more prospects , next thing your a great trainer ,,,,,,, lots of really good trainers around and ****m is one of them .

The greatest trainer that ever lived could not have got Mosley to be any better because Mosley dont have it any more .
