Miguel Cotto vs Floyd Mayweathers needs TO HAPPEN NOW!!!!

Agree that in his prime he stood a better chance... My point is simple: Floyd looked good against Gatti, Baldomir and a faded Oscar who really could have pulled off the draw. Judah gave Floyd fits for the first 4-5 rounds and was winning until he became "Judah" and checked out of the fight.
Floyd looks invincible because of his cherry picked resume. He has not fought anybody worth a damn at 147... How can you be a fan of the sport, and have NO interest in seeing Floyd vs Cotto?
Cotto has the tools to beat Mayweather. Will I put money on the fight? fack no... But I definitely would not rule out a possibility of the upset.Comment

the problem is people dont see it as styles make fights, they see it like this, if fighter A beats fighter B and fighter C lost or had trouble with fighter B then fighter A will beat fighter CComment

Interesting..I see Cotto making a statement against Paul...Cotto would probably stop Paul in my honest opinion. Cotto's shorter height would actually work for him against Paul I think. Cotto vs PW would be interesting for sure...As fans were revived in knowing Cotto still has it(just in case you didn't see the Mayorga fight) we're not sure about PW....It's like Where's Waldo...Comment

Watch the fight again... But leave your viva mexico hat off for a minute and really ask yourself: "Was Cotto seriously hurt?"
Also, Why didn't Cotto hit Margacheato, Torres, and Manny low? Because your BS theory is 100% soap opera BS.
The one who hit LOW ALL NIGHT was your idol Chavez. When he tried that shyt with Randall, he got facked up. Even the commentator made a joke about Randall getting stronger as a result of Chavez's LOW BLOW.
Watch Cotto when hit low... He doesn't even react.Tito and Tyson too... No reaction. Judah was playing the "point deduction" game! He knew he was toast.

thats what everyone says but let me tell you this, you guys want cotto to fight mayweather when his career is going down hill he should have fought floyd when floyd was the one looking for the fight at 140 but you guys seem to forget that and instead say may ducked all these fighters when in reality they ducked him firstAgree that in his prime he stood a better chance... My point is simple: Floyd looked good against Gatti, Baldomir and a faded Oscar who really could have pulled off the draw. Great points. Cotto can Jab which in my opinion is a key punch needed in fighting Floyd mayweather. The only problem I've noticed throughout Cotto's career is he is he is vulnerable to getting countered with the right hand. It will be interesting fight and deffinately no walk in the park. This fight might be a few years past its due date but I'd still give Floyd mad props if he can get in there and take this challenge. I still dont know why people hate on Cotto. Having a loss to Pacquiao and a questionable loss to a known cheater on your resume isnt anything to put down a fighter.Cotto vs Marg and Cotto vs Pac were ****in classics. Yet all anybody wants to do instead of admiring those ****in warriors going at it is criticize cotto. Not to mention Cotto looks better against Pure boxers like Floyd. Thats when he's at his best. Cotto can beat mayweather. Mayweather don't have the power to hurt Cotto and Cotto won't just stare at him like Mosely did.Comment

Actually saying Margarito would beat Floyd is fackin ******. Cotto actually has a chance to beat Floyd.
AGAIN:
Look at Floyd's resume and ask yourself what on that resume spells invincibility for Floyd? Keep in in perspective. There is a reason why Floyd avoids certain fights.
I have been around too long to get all hyped up about the victims on Floyd's resume.Comment

JLC and Corrales where NOT better than Cotto kid.
Mosley possibly but as far as skills go, Cotto is the more well rounded fighter. Mosley had that speed and pop but lacked a quality jab and head movement.Comment
