Common sense dictates that if Margarito was willing to cheat for a fight with an aging mosley, an underdog going into the fight... Then is stands to reason that he would be willing to cheat for a fight with a young undefeated Cotto who was a favorite to beat Margarito.

yep but he had Pac hurt in the 6th while cotto Never had pac in any danger and Marg beat cotto too so yeah plus the only reason he can't fight is cuz he took his beating LIKE A MAN and NEVER GAVE UP while cotta backpedaled the whole fight after his knockdown
