Describe the state of boxing today

The best fighter on the planet is fighting cherry picked opponents who have no chance of beating him and the other best fighter on the planet is just simply not fighting and the most exciting up and coming fighter Gamboa gets arrested.

We are also getting good fights in Klitschko vs. Haye, super six, bantamweight tournament, Hopkins/Pascal and I believe Rios vs. Antillion is going to be amazing.

      I miss the 90s/early 2000s. Really badly.

The state of boxing today....eh, if we keep having good fights like the ones we've been having for the past few months it'll be just fine. If not get more popular. Word will spread.

Boxing is just a glorified pissing contest nowadays. It starts with angry promoters going at each other and ends with fans discrediting fighters they don't like based on race and ethnic background.

today in boxing you got your "haves" and "have-nots". it's kinda like the direction the economy is heading - a few boxers have everything, and the rest, despite putting in hard work don't get what they should in return.

It is the same as always although in an in between period where the older stars are milking it and the next crop has yet to truly separate them self.

Other than that same as has been, keep on keeping on~

It's great! and the best it's ever been. Boxing isn't centralised in one country like it used to be. Fights now in Germany are as strong as fights in the US and we have a great cross range of champions.
