Marquez fought Juan diaz and Katsidis on his last 2 fights, and will be fighting slow and his same size opponent in David diaz....Pacman fought bigger and stronger fighter in Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley....Now, who fought the best opposition????Marquez or Pacman????who's the one cherrypicking his opponent???

Guerrero has been calling him out too, and we're talking about "Oh, Katsidis was his mandatory!". He's quite possibly the best LW, if he cleaned the house at 135 his resume would be extremely impressive, this ain't how to do it though.

I do not like this fight but Juan Manuel Marquez is smart. He is close to 40 and wants that big fight and payday with Pacquiao, nothing wrong with that. After the Pacquiao fight he can go and fight Judah or another of the 140 lb. fighters to win his fourth division world title. Come on people if you had 5 million guaranteed to fight Pacquiao in the fall would you take any risk by fighting someone like Judah or Guerrero, hell no!! JMM deserves to get a big payday at this point of his career!! All you haters **** off!!!!!!!

Marquez wants to have a July fight to shake off the rust before facing Manny Pacquiao in a possible trilogy meeting in the fall. Diaz, a former WBC lightweight champion, has a decision win over Erik Morales, but later lost the title when he was knocked out by Manny Pacquiao in nine rounds.

Marquez is still the best lightweight in the world still has his belts and will still go in the history books as one of the best to ever do it. End of story.
Everyone has ppl call em out, so the **** what. You take the fights that make sense that will be interesting and exciting. Period.
Marquez beats any lightweight in the world right now with a good shot at stoping most of them if not all of them.

Hes chasing a fight with Pacquiao, who most on here believe he has no chance in winning... wait let me rephrase hes "cherry picking" a fight with Pacquiao who ppl think he has no chance of winning, in a foreign weight class to him.

Quit hating, just quit... its a bad look. Be positive and you shall recieve.
