For Khan, I think it's partially because he's not the most known as a fighter, is not an action fighter, doesn't have the Lennox luxury of being a super heavyweight in big fights and partially because of his race.
For Haye, I think a lot of it is because he isn't the most active fighter and cruiserweight where he's spent most of his career doesn't get a lot of praise. Once he did move up to HW, he has plans to retire shortly after and his TWO biggest fights (Klit brothers), he's let fall through in the past.
Hatton...well Hatton was a straight forward pressure fighter, he has a lot of personality, down to earth, working class, humble, was exciting to watch and played to the crowd, spoke live on the mic when he got the chance, being white helps too
