I said match up, not who had more credentials. so no I did not say that. Pac - Hatton was a terrible style match up, I see you don't disagree with the others I mentioned

    • This fight is only in a speculative stage and all the *******s that were saying Floyd is too busy "protecting his zero" and would be scared to fight Ortiz are already on damage control about why Ortiz is garbage. More proof that the majority of Pacquiao fans aren't fans of boxing, just Pacquiao.

i never said that but ortiz is being hyped just because of floyd. remember this dude quit against maidana and drew with the great peterson. you the ones on the hype trail. funny how everyone pac fights is damaged while everyone floyd fights is prime game, thats just ridiculous.

        • Ortiz has no jab, comes in wild and is open all night to counters. He is tailor made for Floyd, and he'd get punished badly. It would be a good tuneup for Mayweather if he intends on fighting Pac.

SMH...after the Ortiz vs Berto fight, there were a million threads talking about that fight. Several threads were thanking Ortiz for exposing berto, and how Ortiz was now the new "WW" to fight. People threw out cottos name, Pacs name, etc. They also commented on how Floyd would never fight a treat including Ortiz. Now that this is a possible match up, its no good?? Give me a break...he's young & ready...

Well everyone knows real champions only fight guys coming off losses and poor performances.

It might work because Manny has shorter reach compared to Mosley, even Mosley had to lean his upper body forward to threw some of his punches against Floyd even though they stood at close range within each other. Nonetheless, i don't like it and i hope Floyd doesn't use that game plan because it's the exact same one Manny's recent opponents (Excluding Clottey) has tried.
The thing is, Manny isn't a good in-fighter, whereas Mayweather is. Floyd won't just be in close quarters with him to block punches ala Joshua Clottey. He is going to work on the inside and the dude is very confortable fighting in the pocket.

i wasnt one to go on the hype trail.ortiz is still questionable. berto was still questionable to because he hasnt fought no one. the fact remains that ortiz go handed to him by maidana and drew with peterson. we are all just glad to see floyd against anyone but lets not get carried away. this will be another shut out.

They mad cuz their hero is fighting tune up fights and has been tuning up for the last few years. Clottey, Margarito, and now mosley?? None of those fighters deserved a fight, none of those fighters were coming off big wins, and none of those fighters came to fight. All those fighters were top rank hype jobs sparring sessions....If floyd does fight and beat ortiz, *******s will complain on how he picked on a JWW/LW bs. Then when Pac fights Ortiz coming off a floyds lost they'll say...FLoyd is a coward while Manny fights dangerous fights..

this is true, Pacquiao tries to avoid fighting from the clinch at all costs...it isn't because he is a "brave exciting warrior who doesnt afraid of anything" it is because his power dissipates when he can't fire off his combos which is his strength
