    Next, Ortiz will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. The details of the fight are still being worked out, but Ortiz said contracts should be signed soon.

    May not materialize but the talks are definately taking place.

              Cant say what the veracity of the claim, since they are putting a sept 16 date. and that happens to be a friday.. but isn't that close to a mexican independance holiday as well? big boxing date, no?

                Damn i hope so, that would be a good b'day present for me (born Sept obviously). Interesting stat there too, every fighter he has fought has tasted the canvas........
