How many fights is froch away from all time great status?

His only loss was in reality a win against kessler..the cobra now faces the wine esque fighter in glen johnson.

Question is, with froch unbelievable record against top level oppostion, where does he rank as a all time great if he wins the super 6?

It all depends on the results of the next few fights. Ward still has to beat A.A and Froch still has to beat Johnson, that will most prob will be the outcome for both fights.

Then the winner of Ward/Froch will be in the top ten p4p without a doubt.

Froch will become great if he can beat Johnson, Ward, Bute, and maybe a top light heavyweight.

All time great? I'm not sure. But he will definitely be among the best of the last couple of decades if he can beat the above in succession.

IMO Johnson is very good preperation for Ward.

Abraham, not so good prep for Froch.

If Froch can deal with Glen's inside game then he can more than deal with Wards, which means it will be a stand off and box type contest, which Froch has a good chance in due to his unorthodox nature, and Ward's lack of power.

Ward won't be galloping around like Dirrell, and if Carl can negate his inside game it gets very interesting and certainly won't be a clinic either way

ATG? He'd have to be fighting and winning at an extremely high level for a number of more years to be even in for consideration. HOF fighter? That's very likely, especially if he beats Ward or Bute. A year ago I wouldn't have given him much of a chance against Abraham, but that boy is full of surprises. Wouldn't surprise me to see him win the above fights.

But he didn't beat Kessler. That was a legit loss.
