I picked Marquez. Tyson had a war with Nica and i think half the posters that voted havent even watched the fight yet. It was back and forth up until the stoppage. The first quarter belonged to El Nica but Tyson just spanked him after his eye was swelling up. About Oriz...the win was impressive and I'm a big fan of his... but i knew he was a great boxer and strong puncher. Plus, like a poster stated earlier..wtf is up with Berto's right hand. He swings it and when he ****s it back it looks like he's reloading...lol it's such a drag as if his hand weights 30 lbs or something. Salido had a great moment against a balls to the wall fighter so idk..it was razor thin margin between them for me.

And it is very hard to be in the top 10 P4P from WW when you had guys like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto and Mosley not wanting to give Berto a shot. When Mosley finally gave Berto a fight, that earthquake happened and Berto lost family and pulled out.

Let's not act like Lopez beat Gamboa, John, Caballero, the top 3 FW's. That would have been a whole different resume if he had wins over those guys. But imo, his resume is no better than Berto's.
Rafael Marquez is better than Collazo and Quintana. By far. Even old Rafa

Ortiz is the man. He kicked some ass, and took that 0.

every fighter on that list deserves a lot of respect.

            tough call,

I voted for Salido, but Ortiz deserves to be FOTM without a doubt. from quitter to champion.

                    Wartiz!

                    salido was my runner up

best fight (and what will likely be the most exciting and back and fourth fight all year,) i give to tyson marquez and luis concepcion

that was one of the wildest fights i've ever seen
and i don't speak spanish very well, but the commentary i heard (chavez sr and marco antonio barrera and a couple others,) was absolutely perfect.

I picked Ortiz.. He had a bigger obsticles to overcome.. Moving up fighting the champ, the ghost of quitting, being dropped 2x, underdog. Salido was just the underdog.
