I reckon, both fighters at their best weight would have been a great boxing match - I still think Floyd would take it, but it would have been so much more exciting say at 130 or 135.

Still, the more I watch Marquez, the more I rate him as a boxer... deffo a future HOF.

jmm was too small and too heavy. jmm's punches weren't heavy enough to hurt wifebeater. jmm was too scared to take the lead.

wifebeater should've been able to stop jmm, but he was too scared to finish jmm off. wifebeater doesn't have that killer instinct
      .

Super Wapakman was able to KD'ed Marquez four times in their two bouts. We all know he would've had KO'ed Marquez had he wanted to.

Mayweather got hit hard on the chin once in that fight and then proceeded to knock Marquez down shortly after. I don't recall that equating to being tagged more than usual.

And, is not that I don't respect or dislike the sweet science and technical aspect of boxing. Because, I do. I was a big Whitaker fan and I really really enjoy watching his fights. I still watch some of his old fights.

I enjoyed Hopkins schooling of Tarver and Pavlik. I have watched these fights multiple times. I have tons of respect for B-hop. But, I won't re-watch his fights with Hakkar. I mean what for?

And, people don't take this the wrong way. If you want enjoyed these fights and want to watch it over and over again. Then hey more power to you. But, for the people that said hey once is enough in watching these weak fights. Then that doesn't make them any less of boxing fans.
            I have genuinely watched Mayweather-Mosley, Mayweather-Marquez and Mayweather-Bruseless roughly 50 times each.

            REAL Boxing fans represent!

No but seriously, I actually have.

I've watched every Mayweather fight multiple times and will continue to do so, I recall Cotto sitting ringside at the Bruselles fight with a no way am I fighting Floyd look on his face...even Merchant in the post fight interview with Floyd chimed in that after that performance Cotto's not going to fight u. Hell Merchant said the same thing about Hamed after Floyd destroyed Chico.

Its because Marquez has elite timing and counter punching skills.

Outside of Floyd JMM is the best at those categories. He also according to compubox didnt land that much of anything. Dont remember the number.
