Spinks I respect your opinions and all, and I know that in the broad spectrum of the 140 pound weight class that Maussa is kind of a joke...but PLEASE name all of those other great wins that the other top 140 pound fighters have?

NOBODY HAS BEATEN ANYONE...outside of Hatton beating Tszyu. Cotto's level of opposition is as good or better than anyone in the division and that's a fact.

Sure, Cotto was hurt worse than Mayweather...but Corley still ROCKED your boy into the ropes with a punch that Floyd didn't see.

I don't expect you to acknowledge that Corley rocked Mayweather however. Mayweather fans never do. Actually he stunned him in the third and rocked him in the 4th (I gave both rounds to Corley).

mayweather dominated the hard hitting corley in his first fight at 140. the more fights he had at 140, the better he preformed, look at the gatti fight, mayweather was simply amazing.

mayweather has beaten many quality fighters at 130 and 135, then moved up and dominated gatti, and now people call gatti a club fighter or journeyman. its interesting to note that gatti, not zab, hatton or cotto has an hbo contract.
because hatton beat zoo, his resume is better than cotto's. he beat the reigning champion in a huge fight, how is cotto's resume just as good or better than hatton's or mayweathers. sure, he beat the c level muassa, and fought corley after mayweather beat him up. cong**** to cotto, your a great talent, but go prove yourself. he hasnt done that yet

                hmm

I'm not surprised by this post. Pretty textbook stuff...

Corley rocked Mayweather too, whats your point? As a boxing fan, you should know that he is a very hard test for any 140 fighter. Cotto did well to recover from that PERFECT PUNCH too.

A lot of PROSPECTS have unknowns on their record...thats why they are called PROSPECTS (they haven't beaten any big fighters yet). But Pinto did decision Mr. Augustus...who is a pretty good fighter himself.

Bazan is like 31 years old...sure he has some ring wear but he was still a live opponent. He's been in with top comp (JLC, Garena) and he beat Johnston way back in the day.

Maussa just knocked out Harris...its a better win than anyone else has had (outside of Hattons KT win).

Like I said...he's beating solid opponents. Nobody to scoff at, but solid fighters.
Corley rocked Cotto, not Mayweather. And I do give credit to Cotto for recovering, but also credit must be taken away from Corley for such POOR finishing skills.

Augustus is a different fighter now and probably took that fight on short notice smoking weed like he used to do. But, still, yeah a decent win. Now though Augustus would own Pinto.

Bazan is not a good opponent for Rafael to be getting so whiny and girly about.

Maussa like I said was a decent win. Not great, but solid. Rafael acts like a wounded girl for some reason, even though I do disagree that Cotto's comp has been "soft". Cotto's record is respectable to me.

You're just making up excuses because you hate Cotto..

Maybe if you take your head out of Roys ass, and stop being so BIASED, you can see more...

I used to be like that too..

Bad karma for you...my karma is 10 thousand times stronger than yours.

You gave me bad karma because I disagreed with you?

if you say hes just making up excuses, then provide some counter examples to "prove him wrong"
imo, bad karma should only be used for those who take things past boxing and to a personal level, but to each his own i guess
