Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao are both superstars, this is such a ****** thread and the TS must live such a boring life that he needs to go ask random people at gyms (yoga class?) about random sh.it.

Hahahaha! Do you know who the TS is????? If I'd done even HALF the things and met even half the people he has when I die I'll be a VERY content man.

        LOL

Just because a few people on a Forum spend their lives BASHING AND HATING the guy, that does not mean the WHOLE WORLD FEELS THE WAY YOU DO!

Mayweather is a SUPERSTAR, he became one during the Oscar fight and during the BUILD UP of that fight when he decided to become the "BAD GUY" in boxing...in turn it has made him A LOT OF MONEY!

The problem is that because some people don't like him, they spend their time trying to get OTHERS to not like lol I don't care for Mayweather much either but it would be flat out ****** for me to say that he is not a great fighter and he is not a Superstar

That is a little weird going around asking random people about Mayweather hahaha that is like that dude Elie ESNEWS what ever his name is on youtube, that dude can't get enough of Mayweather vs Pacquiao

You see commercials literally everyday with these guys starring in them. I'd say Pac is a bigger crossover star than Floyd globally and even don't get the kind of love those other guys get.
how would a boxer be on sportscenter every night when you only perform every 3 months or so? basket ball players play every other day.sportscenter hardly ever shows boxing highlights but whenever floyd fights they always show highlights on sportscenter and espn also scores the card live on sportscenter.non sports fans know every other athlete like they know floyd which is they probably know there name and the sport they play but nothing more

this is not true,i don't know about elvis but the beatles are probably the most talented performers ever and all these so called better singers could never do what the beatles did but i do agree that it is much harder know to be as big as an ali, elvis, or the beatles with so much going on in the world

I would NEVER say Floyd isn't super talented and a special boxer, I'm not blind, I know what he is in that ring...the man can FIGHT in a way very few ever could...and in boxing circles he is a superstar...but in the world scheme of things? NO, he just isn't. A superstar is known intimately by non-fans of his field....in 1968, for example, you could ask 100 people on any street in America if they knew who Elvis Presley was...do the same for Michael Jackson in 1984 and 100 of 100 would say YES...music fans or not, of course they'd know who they were...they both just had that type of public range...Floyd doesn't...it's not his fault, boxing obviously isn't super huge as it was when Ali, Louis, Robinson were doing their thing...

You're not a superstar if you are begging your people to root for you. The last boxer who was a superstar was Tyson. Oscar to some degree but not globally. A true superstar is you can go to any country and average Joe will recognize you. Floyd does not fit the bill.

take Elvis, Ali, Michael Jackson or Tyson and get them walking around rural africa. You think they'd be recognized?

You think Floyd would be recognized????? LOL

Floyd is a suuperstar in BOXING, not of the world.

Floyd Gayweather could be a GREAT boxer but he's to busy being a ****/thug. Boxing isn't what it was when the Iceman was fighting that's for sure.
