Sauerland still hasn't gotten over the embarrassment of going to the US with Kessler for a coming out party, in a fight he viewed as an easy win, and watching his fighter get as thoroughly beaten as anyone has been in the sport of boxing over the past 5 years.
The only performance in the ring that was a joke, to put it mildly, was that of Mikkel Kessler who quit of himself halfway through the 3rd round before any headbutts and then later used them as an excuse for his pitiful performance like an immature little schoolboy who cannot accept his own failures.
Sauerland is a terrible promoter for Kessler and Abraham as both fighters are quick to make excuses and he is quick to make excuses for them. It's a bad combination that ends with nobody accepting responsibility for failure, and nobody looking at themselves in the mirror as to what needs to be done to improve and move forward.
That being said, the referee should be neutral, because it really won't matter. Ward is going to win every second of every round against Abraham just like he did against Kessler.Comment

Kessler was swinging all the way untill the ref stopped the fight due to Kessler bleeding like a stuck pig courtesy of Ward's patented flying headbutts.
If there ever was a quit (outside Duran) it has to be Dirrell in the Abrahm fight. The same Dirrell who's brain now has made a miraculous recovery from a serious neurological injury diagnosed by Dr. Shaw High himself.Comment

I agree with Saurland on this one.
I disagree that the Ward win over Kessler was a fluke. It was either an off night for Kessler, or he just didn't belong in the same ring as Ward. I saw the first headbutt in the 7th round, where Kessler was already down 6-0. It is very shameful of anyone to try to blame Ward's win on headbutts when Kessler looked like he didn't even want to fight even before the headbutts.Comment

Everyone knows Kessler quit on himself in that fight. Sure he kept throwing punches, what else is a fighter supposed to do in a boxing match?
Dirrell's performance against Abraham makes Kessler's performance against Ward look Audley Harrison-esque.
When Kessler was taken to the Doctor he was crossing his fingers inside his glove that they would stop the fight and save him from being knocked out by the feather fisted Ward. He had no desire to finish the fight and was thrilled to get bailed out with a shutout loss. He put up no fight, a real champion would have wanted to finish the last 2 rounds.Comment
