With all of that great skill,

    why is his resume lacking?

did I say he was a perfect fighter? look at my previous post idiot. Morales and Barrera rank higher then him but your just a fucken hater if you think the two of them walk right through him or were more skilled.

why is his resume lacking? I don't know, bad career decisions? why are you asking me dumbass.

JMM being so much more skilled than Barrera and Morales is a myth that has been formed over the last few years.

The skill level really isn't that wide between them, at all.

Morales and Barrera are tremendously skilled fighters

I agree and its arguable, but IMO he was more skilled but not by alot.

          LOL at Marquez resume lacking??

          Beat Pacquiao twice
          Beat Barrera
Knocked out Juan Diaz as a big underdog, then destroyed him in the rematch
          Knocked out Casamayor

Oh and Barrera is the most skilled Mexican of all time and a top 3 most skilled featherweight/superbantamweight of all time

Oh by all means it's debatable and I have no quarms with someone saying it's Marquez. I personally think it's Morales.

But these new fans seem to have this idea Morales and Barrera were face first brawlers with no skills. And act like JMM is lightyears more skilled than them.

            Which really isn't the case.

Morales generally eats a lot more punches then Marquez and Barrera

Explain to me how that works.

In a head to head fight, based on their histories,

Morales and Barrera beat him, convincingly.

Tactical fighters, don't always come out on top.

Vernon Forrest was a million times the technician Mayorga was,

                but guess who won?
Who the **** cares if he gets knocked down alot, when has he never gotten back up? Huh? 3 times by Pac in 1 round by Pac and still arguably won the fight. How that theory workin' for ya? KNockdowns don't mean *****.

To completely count out a fighter like Marquez is almost a ****in crime.

His technique and his combinations are what set him apart. His chin is what beytrays him. And his bad decisions out side the ring.

Go watch the fights anybody with 2 eyes can see Marquez whooped him in the 1st fight winning 10 of the last 11 rounds. While the 2nd fight was closer Marquez still clearly won 8 rounds

                    He clearly beat Barrera

And yes Marquez was the underdog against Diaz and knocked him out.
