  • So I finally watched Cotto vs Mayorga last night......

First off, what a ****ty fight. I can't believe Mayorga is even a pro boxer at this point. He looked slow, was winging punches and his feet were stuck in concrete.

Cotto on the other hand looked gun shy, he wasn't throwing anything, was standing right in front of Mayorga and was getting hit with punches that 4 years ago wouldn't have touched him.

I know that people here believe that Stewart has done something special with Cotto and that he has more movement but I honestly don't see it. Cotto should be looking great against a washed up bum like Mayorga.

Cotto was throwing 2-3 jabs and following up with nothing....It seemed like he was gun shy or didn't want to step into range. I understand the plan was to box but Mayorga was so wide open for shots it wasn't even funny. Cotto of but a few years back knocks him out in under 4 rounds.

If this version gets into the ring with the version of Margarito that fought Pacquaio, Cotto gets murdered.

If I was Stewart, I would keep as far away from Marg as possible but considering that might be Cotto's only big money fight left, he may have no choice.

No disrespect to Cotto, hell of a fighter but I think he's lost a lot in the past few years and the way he was standing in front of Mayorga and getting hit with slow looping shots, Margarito is not someone he needs to be fighting in the near future.

Yeah because Margarito is P4P #1. I mean that fight with Garcia proved just how good Margarito is without his plaster wraps. He looked even more impressive getting his eye socket smashed against Pacquiao. Yeah, the world agrees with you that based on the first plaster-wrapped victory, Margarito is just too amazing for a journeyman like Cotto. You do know Margarito has a big asterisk next his name right?

From now on don't forget the asterisk when you mention Margarito *

It should look like this Margarito *

Keep trying to be Freddie Roach but don't quit your day job son.

Tony hurt Pac more than Cotto did, I guess that means Cotto has no power.

So I finally watched the Margarito VS Mosley fight last night and I gotta say, Margarito looked like chihuahua shyt. Based on what I say especially in the 9th round, it's not a good idea for Margarito to get into the ring with Cotto anytime soon. He was sloow...dumb and looked very vulnerable. He is simply not the same fighter without his wraps and pre-fight tea.

Haha, damn you got your feelings hurt didn't you? Wow

Listen, Marg is past it as well but Cotto was getting hit a lot. I think Marg runs through him.

I was just about to warn you before I got to the last sentence, "Be careful what you say to this guy, he's 'in the fight game'."

With a gift shot to the liver while Pac was caught in ropes trying to slide away with his arms up. Cotto would have broken his ribs with a freebie shot like that. Next!

The margarito that fought pacquiao didn't win one round, got manhandled by a smaller man, and cotto should be afraid of that? Cotto is fearless and does not give a **** what you, Margarito, or any other hater thinks. He will fight who his promotor tells him to fight whether its a tough SOB or a tune up nobody. You should know that by know. Red K coming your way along with a slap in the face for displaying bad form.

He trains junior high school kids in a basement. I am well aware of who Freddie Roach Jr thinks he is.
