And the lunging he was doing was genius... Blocking all of Vitali's punches on the outside, then quickly lunging in and hitting him cleanly with his superior handspeed was a great strategy...If only he wasn't so fat his knee might've held up.

An in shape Solis would beat both Klits, IMO.
I agree, there was a big chance of him winning that fight if in better shape.

I have 2 legs to stand on... if you don't like my opinions that's your business but namecalling is when you become the synonym of what you just called me. & why should I STOP posting because you say so. You can't handle our debates without the hate.. then you defintely have the problem. I'M PASSIONATE about what I write because I WHOLEheartedly believe in what i'm stating.

Yes, each of the 12 punches he throws per round will be powerful.

The Foreman who lost vs Jimmy Young (18% KOratio) or the Foreman who got beaten up by Axel Schultz?

I keep it real.. chris did aid in the process as if Vitali was hitting him more consistently he wouldn't have had the severity & pain that his shoulder exhibited.. at best it's the opposite & Chris gets no more than 20% of the credit, Vitali obviously had this problem before he entered the ring that night.
Exactly. Vitali had shoulder problems before thus making him miss was essential.

Vitali doesn't like it when he doesn't hit you consistently & tends to force the action to try to nail you. He was putting everything he had on some of those shots he missed to get Byrd out of there. I saw the fight.. Vitali did land some good shots but Chris was rolling with it & never really got hit flush. Vitali was trying though & by forcing some of the action made his rotator cuff give out. I'll be the first to admit it wasn't one of his smart bouts & he was inexperienced going up against a slick featherfisted dude like Byrd.

His brother had more patience with Byrd & didn't try to force the action & got better results. Vitali when faced with a similar situation with KevIN (Throw the freakin' JAB) Johnson years later used that experience & while also missing alot of shots because of the bobblehead defense employed by KJ he remained aggressive throughout as Vitali only KNOWS one mode & that is to throw leather from anywhere inside those ropes.. he took off alot of the steam off those punches but kept trying to nail him with mimimal success. IMO this is what he should've done with Byrd & his shoulder might've withstood him missing because he wasn't fully commiitting to his punches.

Next time he's faced with a situation where someone is in a hold with him & hitting at the same time.. he'll make the similar adjustments so fouls don't get committed on the inside that cause cuts & ultimately the fight gets stopped because of it.
