I seriously doubt you have been watching boxing since the Thrilla in Manila.
i was a young kid back then, watched it live, they showed it in the school library. that got me hooked. saw most of ali's fights from then on. till how holmes ****ed up old ali. saw tyson's explosive rise to fame and the 4 kings of the 80s. i kid you not.

you may had more time on your hands than me expanding your knowledge, but the fact is, just reading it or watching youtubes doesnt let you in on the actual drama around each fight.

if there was internet back then, w/ all these bloggers/haters and wouldbe-writers, im pretty sure those fights you listed as greater than pac's wins would have their own share of criticisms.

Hearns was untested as a WW when unbeaten and exposed by SRL. Morales is better than Hearns. Way past his prime and beats Maidana. When hearns was slightly past it, he was losing to the Barkleys of this world.

You cheerleading anything connected with SRL is not fooling anyone. Morales, barrera are two of the greatest mexican names ever and could slip comfortably into any time period.

I saw it live too, on closed circuit in an arena. Everyone going wild, with the back and forth. Early great Ali rocking Frazier, then it looked like Frazier was destroying ALi's body and he would fall in mid-fight, only to wtiness that incredible comeback.

              Hard to describe!

                care to explain this???

how exactly was he untested? when you go to boxrec to look this stuff up, do you ever bother to actually look into some of the names you glace over if you don't recognize?

That dont take away from Duran. Hes got enough good wins on his resume to be taken seriously.
