    PBF has great speed for a little guy - but remember that RJJ is much bigger and shows the same speed. Imagine how fast RJJ would be at 130, PBF's best weight.

    Not a pushover, but a clear win for RJJ. Also, RJJ is at the end of his career and we know what he did. PBF still has a long way to go, and if he keeps fighting the likes of Gatti and moving up in weight to avoid the divisions top contenders, he'll one day be retiring with a mediocre resume and wondering why he gets no respect. Well, duh!

      LITTLE BIT BETTER DEFENSIVLY? Roy jones jr has and had no defesnive skills! all he had was fast reflexes and he had hish ands down at all times now that he is old and father time caught up to him you can see he is like prince naseem. Floyd is a defesnive specialist.

          Mayweather can do everything Roy Jones can do and more. Floyd can fight in the pocket or on the outside. His defense rules the day in this one.

          Mayweather by decision.

            Agreed.
            Not many people consider it to be a defensive move, but it is. Just like footwork is.

              [[[Mayweather Jr is on the same level if not better than Leonard.]]]
              ========================

              I don't care for Leonard, but he was vastly more exciting to watch and defeated stronger comp than Floyd will ever be able to dream of. Leonard was faster and had more offensive arsenal and a great defense. Leonard would not have pittypatted around in the 140 division like Floyd has. He always targeted the MAN.

              As far as any comparison to Roy goes, Roy is the vastly more talented fighter with a career Floyd is not likely to match. Floyd is talented with some good skills, but mentally he's sold himself short. He should be greater, but he ain't and it's all upstairs with him. Nothing wrong with Floyd. He's probably HOF lock by now, but he acts like beating Gatti was supposed to mean something big and now he's run off and hid again.

                Did you read the Interview with Hatton thread yet?

                HATTON WANTS FLOYD NEXT YEAR!!!!! HE SAID IT HIMSELF!
                NOT NOW, BUT IN 2006!

                With that said. When Floyd first came into 140lbs. he targeted Hatton, the man who is the man now. Hatton's people refused. So he went for Chop Chop.

                Now what's your argument?

                  Oh yeah and just to add to my previous post.

                  You do realize that Ray Leonard was always in the position to get those fights against the people he fought, because he was a big draw and everyone wanted to fight him.....kinda like how everyone wants to fight De La Hoya so De La Hoya can make just about any fight he chooses to make.

                    Spare me violins and hankies for Floyd. Hatton only fights in England and never expressed any desire to fight in America until after the KT victory. Floyd was never going to England to fight Hatton for his goofy WBU belt, and Hatton wasn't the MAN, that was KT. Have you ever even watched a boxing match or at least kept up with the results?

                      Jones & PBF are qual in just about every area except power where Roy would be able to catch him with some serious counter punches. Roy defense is very underrated because of his natural gifts. In Jones prime he could roll punches just as easy as dodging them. I would favor Roy to win by decision or possibly a late stoppage from a counter punch.
