Lennox did NO such thing.. he got rid of 2 belts because he refused to fight Byrd & Ruiz who were bonafide titilists after he gave 2/3 of his titles away & he never had the WBO belt either. Wlad can retire aS his & will have more claim to undisputed than Lennox WHO only retired with his Wbc & lineage belt because Vitali suffered cuts in there fight. It's that type of thinking which have people thinking he beat every opponent he ever faced when he REALLY didn't beat Vitali or Mccall & won by defaults because those 2 fighters weren't physically & mentally fit at the end of there fights,, he got spared 2 more KO'S on his resume because of this & instead was awarded 2 KO'S..... REAL FANS know that's a 4 KO swing on LL'S record.... 'nuff said!

Lewis did not "retire as the undisputed king of boxing...." it was very much disputed, to the degree that there wa suposed to be a return with Klitschko on Dec 6th of that year. he made Klitschko go through the charade of travelling to London to have his eyebrow examind by his-Lewises-specialist, to make sure that there would be no premature cut injury and would not "deprive the fans" of their fight..etc etc. and all that crap. THEN after hanging on as long as he could, with mounting public pressure, he exited boxing , slunk away with his "tail between his legs......"

THAT'S how Lewis left boxing. And I challenge anyone to truthfully tell it differently.

I often notice that the Klitschko-ites (of whom I am NOT one) often get so wrapped up in their "fan-titis", that they overlook, and completely ignore the real crux and proper focal point of a discussion, wasting their time on statistics and irelavent argument, instead of immediately seeint the IMPORTANT, central fact, and bringing that fact out.

Haye's heavyweight career has consisted of nothing more than an occasional one-sided exhibition against a non-threatening opponent. He hasn't fought a single real heavyweight contender. Not even one. And now he is fighting the man who has been the champion for years -- of course this is the "defining fight" of Haye's absurd non-career.

Funny that Haye mentions the Wladimir-Ibragimov fight. The upcoming Wladimir-Haye fight is almost certainly going to be as one-sided, and probably as tedious, as that one -- and will probably do as much damage to the popularity of heavyweight boxing. But Haye will happily emerge from the beating with a huge paycheque with which to slink into retirement.

i dont even think this fight will be competitive its a total mismatch Wlad will dominate. Haye has power but he has never been in the ring with a decent heavyweight and I will bet my house that Wlad totally dominates this fight. Not even close

Well, at least we both agree Wlad has the better defense (is less hittabe fighter).

I don't think Haye is a more powerfull HW, Haye is just more agressive.

Barrett who get ****d by both fighters told they both hit hard and fast.

I think Wlad speed is underrated because his big size makes him look slow,but he has a fast right hand and a fast left hook (remember that BAM on Ray Austin chin?).

I think they are both skilled,strong,chinny, but Wlad has a better defense,is more experienced, and should win without big problems.


Haye should ask Chagaev what is the difference between Valuev and Wlad, Chagaev outboxed Valuev and couldn't put an hand on Wlad...

In my opinion, Haye isn't landind ****.
