    Yeah I know he was slick. But he is not an overall better fighter than De La Hoya or Trinidad. The other premiere guys around his weight class. Whitaker was an Olympian in 88. So most of his entire pro career was in the 90's. And definitely De La Hoya and Trinidad have more prolific careers than him, and also beat him.

      whitaker was an olympian in 84 not 88 and he was a better fighter than de la hoya and trinidad... they fought him when he was on a decline and most people thought he beat de la hoya...his defense was crazy
