Berto looked he did mostly weight training. His Upper body was beefy.

It looked gigantic in proportion to his legs.

The man needs to work on his cardio and get some lower body work done..

I dont know what y'all so upset about. He's just speculating like everyone else. He didn't say it DID affect him, he just said it COULD'VE. No big deal...its just his opinion. Jesus Christ some people here just ready rip apart anything anyone says over nothing. Y'all trying to interpret something outta nothing.

Berto had a look on his face that he didn't know what to do against Ortiz.

Very true, anyone with a brain knows inactivity hurts fighters, especially young fighters. Roach is one of if not the best trainer n the world. He's giving his opinion on a very good fight that just took place and what factors "might" have contributed to the fight going the way it did. He's not taking anything away from vic, that was a hell of a fight. People either can't read or are straining their pee brains trying to come up with **** that ain't there.

that's what team berto gets for putting him in with a bum like fernandez... he barely gets one round of work. dibella and al haymon doing everything in their power to protect berto until he gets his shot at a cash cow. if Ortiz hadn't have come off a draw, I doubt team berto would've made that fight.

of course berto won't know how to fight a good boxer when he is constantly fighting overmatched opponents and jr WWs.

you goddamn right *****... also add overtrained, blood drained to a 2 year inactivity and you'll be gasping for air by the 3 rd round like u have asthma

mayweather's biggest win was a fluke
                I agree with u *****

I don't normally read **** Roach's words, but he is right in this one. Berto is one lazy boxer. Blitzkrieg attack is all you need to overwhelm Berto with his lazyness. He wouldn't know where he is when you execute it. But I'm sure he'll be back if he change his ways.

Berto wasn't winning on that night no matter if he fought three times in the year.

If Berto didnt think he was ready enough to beat Ortiz then he shouldn't have fought him.Which we all know is not true,Berto thought he was gonna apply pressure and see Ortiz fold.

Saying stuff like "we all know what happened when Ortiz was faced with adversity,he quit".

Well Andre,,,the worst place you could get a rude awakening is in the ring!Live and learn pal.
