good **** ortiz! but yeah, this fight is unlikely to happen. after these comments, arum will feel offended or disrespected and make another scrap for manny. that, or the fact that gbp & tr are feuding will prevent it from even being discussed by the two of them. arum knows he can sell pacquiao vs a bus driver and it'll sell, so ortiz isn't that much of a necessary fight in arum's eyes. they can easily put one of their WWs in with manny, or have manny move down to 140 and fight people there....we'll see what happens...but i do wish ortiz fights more WWs before trying chase mayweather or pacquiao.

Ortiz beats a vastly overrated Berto and now thinks he is elite WW.
Even if Pacquiao-Ortiz doesn't make too much money, I would still love Pacquiao to end Ortiz's career.

See how quick they have excuses for Pac not fighting Martinez and Ortiz. Both are winning and looking good doing it and that is the only reason they don't want to see the fight.

Why??Berto was untested..Had not fought in months and imo a hype job,I'm not saying he did not win impressively or does not deserve credit for his win over Berto..I'm saying would he really beat another young up in coming hungry fighter at 147lb..Berto imo was not hungry at all..

And, you can start with your buddy "Top Rank", who not only thinks that Manny will fight Sergio Martinez, he thinks that Manny will win

The funniest part of Top Rank's prediction, is not him thinking that Manny could win, it is him thinking that Manny would actually take that fight

Look, no big deal, I just don't see the harm in Pac fighting a prime, young, hungry, opponent, who happens to be on top of his game..... for a change.

Come on man, it's not like Manny's old or something.
You just went on a whole different route to what the original discussion was suppose to be.

I don't know if you got confused or what. You went from Floyd vs Pac, to Pac vs Martinez, to the poster Top rank, and none of that has anything to do with what the point of the discussion was.

                  smh.

Berto was over rated. Ortiz drew against peterson and quit against Maidana.

Martinez.....is the real deal but fights at 160.

Ortiz still needs to prove himself against proven talent. Berto was far from being a proven talent and was questionable himself.

I swear some of yall people how very low standard if you think Ortiz is even a threat to pacquaio. Really have you ever seen ortiz fought before the berto fight. I have and he looked like **** against Peterson and maidana

I still think ortiz would still lose against Maidana, Bradley and Khan. Even before Berto got exposed for the second time in his career(coincidently the two fights he got exposed was both time he was stepping up to competition) i felt bradley, khan would beat Berto ass.

I been saying that Berto was over rated ever since the robbery against collazo and always wanted a rematch but berto was too much of ***** to even rematch with collazo.

Pac sparred with Ortiz several times when he was preparing for Diaz. Ortiz was on record saying he is not ready for Pac yet. He stated Pac is strong and fast and he needs more time to be ready for him.
