...look who's back after 5 hours .... you lied about everything....the 20 lbs fitzsimon had over corbet, (14 lbs) ...you did'nt directly say it was a onesided beatdown , but you implied he dominated the whole fight....and i still dont believe robinson was 15 lbs smaller vs lamotta in any of their fights...

I mean hell, Duran looked tiny against Barkley, who was huge for a Middleweight and even ended his career at HW. for all we know, Duran had a 20lb disadvantage in that fight, since he only weighed 156lbs and Barkley could have easily rehydrated up 15lbs.Comment

What did I lie about specifically?
Ughhh...Did you read my post? Can you actually read?
I said CLOSE to 20 Lb's. Fitzsimmons weighed 167, Corbett weighed 184. That is 17 lbs. NOT 14lbs, but 17lbs. Which is close to 20 lbs...
So now you're telling me what I implied?? Really? I said he knocked him out, because he did....Nowhere did I say anything about a 'Beatdown'.
What's not to believe you ****ing imbecile? Go on Boxrec and type in Jake Lamotta and look at the weights for their first 3 fights.
1942-10-02 157¾ Sugar Ray Robinson 145 35-0-0
1943-02-05 160½ Sugar Ray Robinson 144½ 40-0-0
1943-02-26 160¾ Sugar Ray Robinson 145 41-1-0
That is copy and pasted from Jake Lamotta's Boxrec. Is that good enough for you?
So, again, What have I lied about exactly? Absolutely nothing.
Everyone that is reading this can see that I haven't lied about a single thing and that you can't read, can't count, and can't comprehend anything with a grain of sense.
You should just stop, seriously. It's getting embarrassing.Comment

how do you know? youre going by the bs rehydrate weigh ins(which incidently can be inaccurate) that those fights didnt have.

He can't comprehend basic logic and he just repeats what he says in his orginal post in all of his posts.
I already addressed this point you have made and low and behold he doesn't seem to understand.

In 1896, Fitzsimmons won the World Heavyweight title in a fight in Langtry, Texas, against the Irish native fighter Peter Maher.[5] On March 17, 1897, he knocked out American Jim Corbett to retain the World Heavyweight title in round 14.[1] This constituted a remarkable achievement, as Jim Corbett, a skilled boxer, weighed a stone (14 lb) more than Fitzsimmons. He out-boxed Fitzsimmons for several rounds, knocked him down in the sixth round, and badly damaged his face with his jab, left hook and right hand, but Fitzsimmons kept coming and Corbett began to tire. In the 14th round, Fitzsimmons won the title with his "solar plexus" punch. Corbett collapsed in agony. Fitzsimmons' "solar plexus" punch became legendary, although he himself may never have used the phrase. The entire fight was filmed by Enoch J. Rector and released to cinemas as The Corbett-Fitzsimmons Fight, the longest film ever released at the time.

Firstly your using Wikipedia, which speaks for itself.
Secondly the fight was in 1897, not 1896.
And thirdly, it has been documented that he Fitzsimmons weighed 167 and Corbett weighed 184. Or around those marks. This includes Boxrec. Which is close to 20lbs. But of course, you don't understand this.
Oh my life, seriously? LEARN to read. PLEASE.
Earlier in my post I said. "The FIRST 3 fights between Lamotta and Robinson, Robinson was outweighed by 15 pounds." I then said "In the other 3, he was outweighed by 10, 9 and 5 lbs". They fought SIX times, do you understand that?
Where have I said he was outweighed by 15 lbs in ALL their fights? Quote me.
Again, Robinson was outweighed by close to 15 pounds or 15 pounds in their first 3 fights. Where are you getting lost?
Stop posting, Baracuda. Save yourself.Comment
