All Top Rank fighters act like the Stepford Wives when asked about fighting Mayweather during post fight interviews.

The only problem about that, Marquez & Floyd were on the P4P list. Im still not getting it on how Dawson or Lewis could call eachother out if only 1 is on the P4P list.

Im not here trying to argue that they couldn't fight. Im just stating that there should be nothing wrong with 2 guys, the number 1 and number 2 guy coming together for a fight, even if one is a weight class lower. And thats what happened there with Marquez.

It could also be compared to Roy Jones vs Lewis, remember Jones went for John Ruizs Paper HW title, instead of going for Lennox's HW title.

marquez is a ballooned LW and floyd didn't even come at the accorded catch weight. lets assume JMM is a natural LW (he's really a SFW), it's still 2 weight classes apart

for an old man, it's impossible to carry his goods (speed, power, etc) in such a jump. that fight shouldn't have happened, even as a tune up
