WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. said that he was very confident of remaining as the only undefeated champion in Puerto Rico. He vowed to end Mexico's recent run over Puerto Rican boxers. On May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, he faces former champion Jorge Arce on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley pay-per-view. In the last few weeks, Vazquez watched countrymen Juan Manuel Lopez and Ivan Calderon get knocked out by Mexican boxers. Fighters like Cesar Seda and Francisco Palacios lost their unbeaten records overseas.

Don't be a chick... Cotto fighting the fighters he fought regardless of "belt" or not does NOT minimize the fight itself. We ALL know who the top fighters are regardless of whether or not they have a belt. You are talking like a kid who watched to much WWF growing up. The belt is BS nowadays...
