Margarito could be most likely to be cleared if he had a very easy fight like a soft puncher like the one Cotto faced. Doesn't change the fact that he didn't run from the challenge unlike Cotto who wanted to escape it.

well said, pac got busted up by cotto and even though miguel lost.. he lost to a 100% beast mode manny.. while margarito got ****d and hospitalised by a 70% manny and didn't win a single round...

Don't be a chick... Cotto fighting the fighters he fought regardless of "belt" or not does NOT minimize the fight itself. We ALL know who the top fighters are regardless of whether or not they have a belt. You are talking like a kid who watched to much WWF growing up. The belt is BS nowadays... "lo que se para ganar"...who else,urkal,branco? corley? check his record before he faced cotto and tell me who he had just defeated,and then he beats a bum in jennings and a handicapped feather fisted fighter in foreman,then an old man(like you yourself call calderun) in mayorga....not very impressive
