I didnt add anything. I asked. It seems like you're tying to point a really trivial difference which doesnt even bear mentioning. The situations are still pretty much exactly the same.

Bush would you agree both Cotto and Berto sign the contract knowing about the catchweight??Cause if you do they both knew what they sign up for and should have been ready either way..Mosley sign on to do ost I can't use that as a reason why Mosley lost..

That's right Hector but I didn't see you post this absurdness when the same thing exactly happened when Pac fought Cotto.

Oooops I forgot, you hate both races.

What does this even mean and how is it even relevant? What is the significance of who "chose" who? I think it was Bob Arum who chose to make Pacquaio vs Cotto

So I guess u'll continue to claim that I said anything about losing when I didn't now??My post was about Cotto-Pacman & Berto-Ortiz not being the same situation, not a word about why whoever lost, lost.

Yup they are not the same. Pac was going up from the Hatton fight while Berto is moving down from Welter for just a pound. Nothing is exactly the same in boxing.

The only same thing that happened here is that all four agreed and signed the contract.

both berto & cotto struggle with making 147...

just because a fighter may come in a pound or 2 under 147 doesn't mean they don't struggle with it.....it means their just highly dedicated to making the weight. berto use to fight in the 160's for goodness sakes.

putting a catchweight on a guy damages him mentally & physically (in training camp) because in some form or another it disrupts their training camp......

i still feel that the catchweight on cotto was wrong & i can kinda see the point of this thread.........

For example, while a mustang & a camaro are both pony cars, they are not the same car. That's not saying that a camaro is better because I like it more,ok??
Sorry I miss understood..But I have to say they awful similar to each other..

Still no link saying the fight was signed with catchweight included in the contract.
