It means that team Pacman chose Cotto.Cotto didn't issue a challenge to Pacman,Pacman's team chose Cotto.Just like they chose Margarito & Clottey & Mosley.When Mosley 1st issued his challenge to team Pacman at the wild card gym,they turned him down.

both berto & cotto struggle with making 147...

just because a fighter may come in a pound or 2 under 147 doesn't mean they don't struggle with it.....it means their just highly dedicated to making the weight. berto use to fight in the 160's for goodness sakes.

putting a catchweight on a guy damages him mentally & physically (in training camp) because in some form or another it disrupts their training camp......

i still feel that the catchweight on cotto was wrong & i can kinda see the point of this thread.........

Now this is consistency. In that he thinks cws are bad. Whereas the hypocrites praised and excuse the Ortiz-Berto CW fight and then maligns the Pac-Cotto cw fight.

If you're against cw fights then be against all of them. Don't excuse one while condemning the other.
