This isn't my top 25, by the way. Jut the first 25 names that came to my head who I rank higher than Pacqiuao.
I dont see how Wilde or Jofre are higher than Pacquiao. Do they have wins as good as near prime Barrera?

      Ok, I do.

No they don't, that doesn't mean they should automatically be ranked lower.

I have Jofre and Wilde above Pacqiauo, thats my personal opinion. And you will struggle to find a legit historian that disagrees with that.

Either way, it is still very questionable to have Pacqiuao a Top 25 ATG. And by no stretch of the imagination is it unquestionable.

fair enough, but I dont see much arguement for Wilde or Jofre being above Pacquiao, considering their quality of wins werent as good nor did they have success over a number of weight classes.

In the end you are definitely in the minority as Pac is within 20 even 10 in most experts lists and will go down in history contrary to what you believe.

That's your opinion. I really see it the opposite. Jofre and Wilde are Top 25 unquestionable ATG's in my opinion. Pacqiauo being around the Top 50 in my view.

I rank Jofre higher than Pacqiauo firstly for his dominance and secondly because he is the Greatest Bantamweight in boxing history IMO.

And I rank Wilde higher because he is the greatest Flyweight of all time with an insane level of longevity.

That is more than a reasonable argument for them being ranked higher. And to be honest, I think you might be the only person who I have ever spoken to who has vast boxing knowledge that ranks Pacqiauo above those 2.

I think Pacquiao's catchweight belts will ultimately tarnish his ATG status. They'll have to be accounted for when considering who really is the best ever.

There really is little argument Manny Pacqiuao is a Top 10 ATG. Or even Top 20.

I don't recall any legit historian having Pacqiauo in there Top 10 list or even Top 20 actually.

But feel free to provide a link if there is.

To even answer the question of WHO IS THE ATG is a very, very hard one to respond to. That's why there's only a consensus of people within boxing ranging from the oldest and the youngest...

THere's also the subjective issues that can never be resolved beyond the RECORD and the opponents fought. And thus to say that he is around TOP 25 is very fair, I think.

In my humble list, I would say he is probably around top 15 to 20...
He probably is. I can't imagine more than 20-25 fighters with a better list of accomplishments. He's not doing himself any favors right now though. A Martinez/Mayweather win would catapult him into the top 5-10 easy.

Nope. It will be forgotten after a few decades when *****s and *******s are gone. Only the HOF names in Pac's resume will remain. Truth.
