How come Pacquiao never fought Guzman??

They were both in the 122 at the same time, Guzman even held the WBO belt. And later they were also fighting at 126 and 130 at the same time, more or less. Guzman didn't fight at 126 that much, but neither did Pac. I think his management (Pac's) didn't wanna take a gamle, knowing just how good and clever a boxer Guzman was.

It could still be a good fight but its Guzman's own fault to didn't blow up.....figuratively anyway.

Guzman's punching power at 122 was also impressive, I think he'd stop Pac. Agapito Sanchez, who hit less hard and was smaller than Guzman, gave Pac some very rough time. Hadnt the fight been stopped, who knows how the fight would end...

So, I think Joan prolly would dominate and whoop Pac's skinny arse. At 122, at 130 it would be a closer fight.

Pacquiao fought Barerra, Marquez, and Morales back to back ( with the exception of just one tune up between Marquez and Morales). That's what you call no fear.

Guzman would knock PAC out in 1...it's a fantasy fight.

He's busy with greater fighters Barrera Morales and Marquez.

What the hell does a resume with Guzman on it do?
Ans: It's like having David Diaz without the belt.

I was a big guzman fan and wanted this fight to happen but you can't really blame pac here. The closest it came was at 130 pounds, Guzman beat Soto and that could have set up a fight with Pac, but Pac fought Marquez instead. Obviously Marquez was a much bigger fight for Pac at the time.

At 122 pounds Guzman wasn't known at all. Again the biggest fight Guzman got and most exposure was against Soto
