Ortiz is ready. He's got good boxing skills and wont be a sitting target for Pacquiao. It would be a fight Pac could very well lose. He's faster than Cotto and 10x the boxer that Margarito is. He showed us that he's exciting and willing to put it on the line. I love the possibility of this fight happening.

I totally agree with what u said. If floyd doesn't step to pac there really is no one left, he's beaten all those fools at 147. I wouldn't mind seeing pac v bradley but after watching how Bradley looked against Alexander even that fight looks like a waste of time. Ortiz is the only REAL option at 147, if pacs gonna campaign there he should for sure be next up to bat. I don't care if he gets ko'd or not, it would be a war and even if he looses ( he will ), I don't think it will hurt his career much. He's gonna be the man at 147 in a year or two win lose or draw. The fight would be epic, can u imagine these two monsters, together in the same ring??? Talk about a war, **** "ready", we ain't got time to wait around till he's "ready", pac is fixing to retire. i agree. People are saying Berto got exposed. I didn't see that at all, Berto threw bombs and he took bombs. Vic just dished him up as you say. Iv'e always said he struggles to get to 140. He dropped the ball against Maidana, but i don't see that happening after this victory. Ortiz has power. He drops everyone he fights. Even though he lost to Maidana he still dropped him 3 times......and even if he loses to Pac i think it will be really competitive. Ortiz showed he has a very good chin at 147, stamina, speed and true power. HE IS A REAL THREAT TO MAYWEATHER AND MP. I think he prob loses to both because he get's reckless sometimes, but damn him and Many would be a DELIGHT....an absolute slugfest.

boxing skills? ortiz doesnt even throw jabs,
its all out power punches, nothing less.
a boxer like manny that moves side to side and in and out and throws jabs,
and power punch combos would do ortiz in
ortiz would get dizzy from pacs movements and get frustrated,
and i think pac would make ortiz quit come later rounds

but i will admit that oritz would have a punchers chance against pac

His angles work well against faded plodders..let's see what happens when he fights somebody with their own angles.
