Why only those options? Why not Martinez? We are talking about big names here, as you say Chavez has fought nobody.

Good stats, but Cotto won his last two fights before facing Pacquiao, so did Ricky Hatton. Diaz won his last five.

So now you want Manny to fight only fighters who is on a winning streak disregarding totally his opponents abilities and skills!!! WTF is that!!! Manny can just fight cab drivers with zero losses and be praised by you!!! Is that impressive to you??!!! Manny fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley, the winners and losers of those fights, you are not a real boxing fan if you don't get this, Manny doesn't care who wins or lost the last time he just wanted to fight the top and best players, he also did the same when he fought the three best mexicans in Barrera, Morales and Marquez. Manny just doesn't believe of a fighter being shot just because of 1 lost, Manny was KO'd when he was a teener but that did not stop him from moving forward... Leonard, Duran, Hearns and Hagler went round robin with each other and created legendary fights with each other, coz they were not afraid on who wins or looses they just want to fight the best... Ali, Fraizer and Foreman fought each other at some point in their career and that made them true legends of the sport.... You see the difference now, unlike one particular boxer who claims to be even bigger than Ray Robinson but is more concern of preserving his zero rather than showing his true worth inside the ring like the rest of the true boxers/fighters...

Yes agree with Martinez being the true big name out there other than Floyd but whats his winning streak looking like right now? 3 wins? and a loss (P.Williams) and draw (K.Cintron) prior to that? Is that good enough? Because Hatton & Cotto had won 2 straight with only 1 loss on their resumes prior to fighting Pacquiao. Its not much of a difference.

It's a big difference, Hatton and Cotto were coming off big KO losses and looked bad in their fights after those losses.

I'm on about "big names" you ****ing ******, Pacquiao only chooses to fight these big named fighters when they have come off losses/bad performances instead of choosing to fight them before.

Sugar Ray Leonard only beats guys who don't train, guys who train too hard and lose too much weight, guys who are on the decline, and guys with weak chins.

Muhammad Ali only beats good fighters if they're old, slow, old and slow, guys who've recently had bad brutal losses when they are lifted off the canvas by uppercuts, guys who have been shot by state troopers making them "literally shot", and Sonny Liston leftovers.

The other good fighters he beat were sandwich makers who were barely .600 (why this is boxing, not a MLB pennant), former Toughman champions, and the 2nd best Mayweather.

Hatton went back to his natural weight (140) got a UD over Lazcano and dominated (TKO 11) Paulie Magg (in his natural weight both fights)

Cotto TKO's Jennings and beat a worthy opponent in Clottey in a good fight and close fight.

                  Where did they look bad?

Hatton got rocked in a tune up fight against Lazcano and the fought a weak puncher in Malignaggi.

Cotto was a big favourite to beat Clottey but was lucky to sc**** a decision and would have lost if Clottey didn't slack off.

Can you name those folks Margarito, Hatton and Diaz beat without looking them up?
I'm not a Pac hater but it does dissapoint me that he often fights guys who haven't looked so hot recently.

Cotto was a compley legit fight though and
                      Mannys' most impressive performance imo.
